2005 
Purchased in need of full renovation in 2005, the future looked rosy for 1 Alfred Street. 

Renovation

2006/7 
Work began with the brickwork being re-pointed and the outside of the sash windows restored and painted. The roof was replaced, along with the dormer windows and velux to the rear and the chimneys repointed and made safe.
2007 to 2015
​Work stops. In the midst of the financial crisis the property's value plumments.
 
Although funds were available to complete the renovation it would not have been a wise investment. 
 
 
2016
​A super fast renovation took place between March and June 2016 as a long-term commercial tenant was found for the building. It's a great outcome for a great little building.
