1 Alfred Street WANTAGE

After many years of failed attempts to find a new use for 1 Alfred Street, 2016 finally saw its fortunes change. This period property had been in need of renovation for over 10 years, but thanks to Wantage Town Centre Manager, Iain Nicholson, in June 2016 new tenants moved in and it is back in use.

 

Iain put a local business, Danacare, in touch with the owners of the property in February 2016. Danacare were looking for new premises after plans to convert their current offices (The Woolpack) to residential use were approved.
